DC Universe Online

Post by ycontrol »

Did anyone here try the DC Universe online beta? I played it, it was pretty good. Made it to about level 15. Had some bugs to be worked out. I noticed the other day when I logged on via my PS3 it said beta was over and I had to delete the game. Not sure if I will buy the released version or not. It's $14.99 a month...like WoW. I must admit it's pretty fun.
Anyone else play?

It has since gone "free to play" and I installed it onto my PC. Fun fun!

I consciously avoid MMOs, mainly because I have too many games that I've already paid for that I haven't played yet.

Fun Fact: Humble Bundle #4 is on right now, and is pretty awesome this time around. Pay what you want for 5 games, 7 if you beat the average. Windows, Mac, and Linux. A customizable portion of your money also goes to charity.

Bonus Fun Fact: If you buy it, beat the average, Cave Story is pretty awesome.
