need more ram or power?

:grade11math:

not sure which it is but i'm leaning towards both.

monitor don't want to work too well anymore on high screen res. it seems to lock up computer more?

also some times music just stops it also stops the whole mediamonkey program and i have to restart it. i'm thinking ram?

but would too little power cause the above too?

i believe its the ram more and more as i was having stuttering in the sound.
and it now has stopped since i closed a program that was not really needing to run in the background.

so closing that freed up ram which then made the sound stutter stop.

but i'm not sure if that would also be cause of monitor not liking the huge screen res, or if lack of power is that answer?

do any of you have any idea?

Got more ram have 2 gb's now

Still does the lock up and shut off of the crt.

But since the other system's flat panel did the lock up and shut down of monitor then toasted the monitor, i'm figureing its the crt being old that its going out too. :colormonitor: now got to get two of them. :banghead:
