Philips Aurilium PSC805 External Sound Processor Review
Posted by Red Squirrel on August 13th 2004

The Tech Zone has posted a review of the Philips Aurilium PSC805, an external sound
processor designed to work with notebooks.
The overall effect the Philips Aurilium had on the sound is very dramatic; almost
a night and day difference. With the Sound Agent 2 off, my MP3 sound dull, the
sound from Doom 3 didn't scare me and the car chase in Terminator 3 didn't sound
like a movie theater. All that changes with the Aurilium; MP3 sound like live CD
recordings, Doom 3 took on a whole new sound dimension and the explosions in T3
were so life like it gave me the shakes. The Aurilium had turn my humble little
notebook into a multimedia power house.
