Apparently he has writtenseveral voxel based engines over the years, often right after some oftheir major gaming releases. The infinite detail that voxels canaddress is obviously of great interest, but he feels that even withcurrent (and fast) hardware it is still inferior in many ways tocurrent polygon/raster based rendering.
