Pioneer DVR-R100 Dual Layer DVD Burner
Posted by News-Bot on April 14th 2006

The rate at which the price of DVD burners has dropped over the past few years has been quite impressive. DVD burners went from being unpredictab le devices for big budget users to standard equipment in just a year or tw o. An internal DVD writer is something which is a smart investment with any new computer, and given their prices and usefulness, it almost always make sense to get one. Whether you want to use it for storage, multimedi a, or backing up, a DVD writer is a great tool to have around. This revi ew will be taking a look at Pioneer's DVR-R100 DVD burner. When comparin g these products it can be tough to tell one from another or decide betwee n a Plextor or a Pioneer, but they are not all the same and a little shopp ing around can make a big difference. This drive looks good on paper and it still uses a IDE connection, so it will be compatible with any compute r system, even something older.
