At 3000rpm the fan is definitely audible over the other case fans, however it is not an annoying noise, nor is it overpowering. It is quite low pitch and is purely noise from the fan spinning – there is no turbulence noise or rattling. Many cases come with 4 or more 80mm fans running at this speed, and it would not be not be noticeable in that setup.
