Posted by Red Squirrel on August 13th 2004 The Tech Zone has posted a review of the Philips Aurilium PSC805, an external sound processor designed to work with notebooks. The overall effect the Philips Aurilium had on the sound is very dramatic; almost a night and day difference. With the Sound Agent 2 off, my MP3 sound dull, the sound from Doom 3 didn't scare me and the car chase in Terminator 3 didn't sound like a movie theater. All that changes with the Aurilium; MP3 sound like live CD recordings, Doom 3 took on a whole new sound dimension and the explosions in T3 were so life like it gave me the shakes.
