Also, with these die shrinks have comeother improvements to flash architecture =96 both to increase throughputand decrease latency. Another thing sidestepped by the paper is thedifference in quality of flash memory. This varies widely amongmanufacturers, and was highlighted in a recent presentation at theFlash Memory Summit, where several different flash memory types weretested.
