Gotta be nothing really left from 3D Realms worth making the game for this gen It's not gonna be the game it was supposed to be if everything is scraped and started from scratch.
Might as well slap a new name on it, Because It's not going to be Duke Nukem Forever if none of the original development is kept.

Unless they plan on releasing as a cheap download on pc/ps3/360 and keeping those graphics/voice overs/sfx from 97

Actually if Gearbox took it over, it could potentially have potential. They did make Halo afterall.

But I'll believe it when I actually get to play it. Haha.

Maybe it's just been a joke used to draw attention to 3D Realms company name all these years and now that the company is going under Gearbox is gonna keep the joke going
