| those are 48" spools, that weigh in at around 170lb's (just the spool) then add > .2lbs/ft cat5e or cat6 > .6lbs/ft 8pair direct burial cable > 1.4lbs/ft 100mcm alluminum wire > 2.2lbs/ft 100mcm copper wire > 6.8lbs/ft 450mcm copper wire those spools can usually hold around 25kft of cat6 or 15kft of of 8pair dbc which is what that looks like. You can have fun with your calc to ficure the weight of that spool. ps... 450mcm is that black shielded wire you see going from the transformer at the pole to the building. Usually about 1.15" in diameter, roughly the size of a US quarter. That looked alittle staged, but still quite hilarious. |

| i seen something like this on tv it was on belive it or not? or funniest home video's they rolled it down the stairs and man what a crash they had. those are so heavy it would look like a cartoon if some one had tried to stop that from rolling, you know where they get stuck to the item flatter then a pancake. |

| "The phone guys" apparently. Those are super heavy too, like, probably about 600 pounds. I was doing a cleanup in a warehouse and figured "oh, I can just stack those to save room". Yeah, not gonna happen. |
