Solution: Firefox, Opera, or any non-IE browser. IE lets sites do too much, which is a problem.

Though you still have to be careful what you download since no matter how good your security is, if you download something and install it and it has spyware, you'll be infected. Would be nice if virus scanners would catch spyware in real-time like viruses though.

Sweet! My computer had more Spyware/Adware, though.. It killed it eventually, yay XD

The question is this----------

What program will PREVENT spyware/highjackers from being installed?

I'm running a half dozen programs & junk keeps getting in.

Like vx2.look2me --Which-even though Microjunk Ant iSpy finds & cleans, but doesn't---the only thing that takes it out is CW Shreder.

But NOTHING BLOCKS THIS JUNK banghead.gif pissed.gif

I thought I had already posted it here but I guess not. I setup a win98 install in a virtual machine and I'm throwing as much spyware to it as I can, mostly with IE by browsing random malicious sites.

Here's the damage so far. laugh.gif
