Mario and the characters are sprites... Spritework is possible in Turing, but I've never used it... Good luck if you can get it to work...

Designing a level in using any programming language is a bad idea. Its best to use something else for level design and have the program load it.

Personally, I'm a fan of XML that can be "compiled" into a compact binary format.

i like your idea but i am interested in using my turing knowlegde of how to make simple things to make a level in actual turing......i want to use the program ......i am not good enough to make a mario so can i have code of one made so i can learn from it etc. thus extending my programing knowlege

Look into a NES emulator, you will be able to play original NES games. Make sure you get one that emulates the sound properly, mario just isin't the same in high quality midi, you want the real nintendo style music. laugh.gif

i have always been interested in mario (NES forever) and i am hoping that some leet programmer can make me or show me the code that will make me a mario so i can make my own levels in turing for him to explore.......plz post code for me
