The pop-up isn’t an advertisement. The forum software notifies you of personal messages via a pop-up window. It just says something like: “You received a message from John Doe. (Read in this window | Read in new window | Close)”. Mind you, that’s not anything exact. It has been quite some time since I’ve seen it. Fortunately, you are also notified of personal messages immediately to the right of the “My Controls” link.

I get home from work, open up firefox to visit Iceteks (Mainly 'cause UO was down) and what do I see? The shock of my life! (Notice the red highlight by the title bar). Pop-ups Red? For shame, for shame. I knew you enjoyed making those mortgages calculator's in HTML, but never thought you'd go that far! . Hehehe j/k, I actually don't know how that message got there. I might have went to another site and came back and this message popped up. It was weird so I decided to take a screenshot .
