thats the same thing i had. most people thought i was nuts with in on another forum but it is a hard one to get rid of. if you noticed each time it was found it was found in a different folder or file in the temp web page folders for ie5content. which is what gives it away that it is reloading from the system restore. first update your zone alarm fire wall as that trojan messes up that when it breaks in your system. then put it in the virus vault. go to the control panel to system and turn of system restore. reboot the computer delete it from inside the virus vault. reboot the compouter go to the control panel to system and turn on the system restore run a complete test with avg it should be gone. if not look for your other temporay files folders and delete all the files INSIDE your TEMP FOLDER turn off system restore reboot. turn on system restore and run the virus scann again i think swat it is not being updated any more it has been a year or so since the last update to it. i am waiting on a answer to find out if it is still being used. avg will find trojans too and i think better then swat it. in case others want to refresh their memory on what it was doing to me i found the link to the other message i put in about it. http://www.iceteks.com/forums/index.php?showtopic=2516&

Was the trojan called Sec Thought.E Trojan Horse?

Ya, Trojans suck. Did you try researchng on the trojan? Sometimes sites have ways to remove it. Hopefully the trpjan isn't something horendous, like one embedded somewhere in system32 or anything like that. When I get a virus/trojan and Norton can't delete it, I usually take things into my own hands and delete it myself. I would check to see if you can find a webpage on getting rid of the virus.

If you are using XP or ME, you will need to turn off system restore before getting rid of the trojan or it will keep returning. Once the system is clean, enable restore again.

Try deleting it from the virus vault. But what it sounds more like is that it does not delete it completely so it might be in the startup somewhere so check around for suspecious file entries. btw welcome aboard.
