| LOL my grandma is bad for that. Me "I deleted 600 spyware items on your computer, including that ebay toolbar" her: "Why is it missing, and what happened to my internet explorer, I can't get to ebay from mozilla because it's not in the address bar!" me: "ebay toolbar showed up as spyware, just keep track of auctions by going to ebay" *types ebay in address bar and presses enter* her: "oh now it works in mozilla, what did you do?" |

Yeah in a way it's sort of my fault since the A/V was well, not reall working well on that PC. It was not up to date and did not catch it. Have no clue how long those viruses were there. I have this warning dialog that pops up when any emails come in with attachments, but since that did not make them realize to be careful, I might just block attachements alltogether... |

| If anyone get's a virus from a @iceteks.com address, please let me know. My dad opened another bunch (98 this time) of viruses on the computer and now that I cleaned it, I'm getting reports that there's still some going off the network. I'll have to set a packet sniffer to see if these are comming off the network, or that someone else that's infected has one that is spoffing my email. |
