windows messager is in winXp

msn messager is in win98

you can download msn messager and use it in win xp

the two are different critters one lets you do more things not much but a little.

most people do not even know there are two of them out there.

i use msn messager i did not change over as i thought windows messager for xp was too much like a school program and since you said she was at school that makes sense to me.

I was about to install it. But then I happend to read some of the agreement, which said it installed some spyware...err...some other useless program I should say. And MSN Plus wouldn't work without it. So I said nonono.gif , and decided not to bother. Besides, my friend said she was at University, with "Windows Messenger. She couldn't have been using anything more then that, like MSN +.

Red Squirrel - Oct-04-2004 server time
MSN plus is spyware! And it screws up mozilla's preferences if you install it.

Triple6_wild - Oct-04-2004 server time
this reply may be a bit late but that seems like the work of msn plus wink.gif i love this thing

its an add on to msn that gives you a bunch of new options for msn such as changing the "Online" tag to anything you want such as "web" that you have pointed out smile.gif and auto away messeges ... also has stuff like boss mode that hides all msn chat windows n contact list using a macro for those who shouldnt be on msn at skewl work n whatever

to meny things to name for msn plus so just best you try it smile.gif

But why would that one person's account know the world is ending conf.gif .

Red Squirrel - Sep-30-2004 server time
It means the earth is on it's way to destruction. REPENT REPENT! em320.gif

Fuzzy_Fox - Sep-30-2004 server time
I wanted to know what that icon meant.

richardj - Sep-30-2004 server time

I don't understand your post.

Are you trying to find a certain icon

or--??? conf.gif

Fuzzy_Fox - Sep-30-2004 server time
You know, there's the away, busy and such. But then there's the mobile phone one, and some new one I saw today. It was a little globe (Earth), and I think the name was a little bluish too. It says (Web) next to the person's name in the chat window.
