it had sucked it up enough to get a little gap between the duct wall and the filter so it got air but that dang big fan up there almost got it all the way in you know that would also explain why we got larger then normal electirc bills the last couple months but that filter is one that can be cleaned out an used again red. it is real hog hair mesh

Did clearing the filters work? If not the blower might of went caput, especially if it was forcing so much. Actually it depends if the filter is before or after the blower, if it's before, then if it get's clogged up the blower should not force, but turn faster, since there's less air, so less work. But if it's pushing air through the filter which is clogged then it would force. And a squirrel cage motor forcing can suck up quite allot of juice.

after sitting here for most the summer and wondering why the ac is not working or if it was out of freon, after going out on hot days and spraying the unit down with water to make the house cooler. i sat here today and wondered why there was no air or what seemed to be no air movement out of the vents? it was not cold enough for it to ice up the unit in the attic? I thought to check the filter after i got it out of the intake duct which it was sucked up in to it halfway? I took it out side held it up and could not see through it? too much of west texas came to visit us i guess? so i put it on the ground got the garden hose and blasted it clean. almost filled a bucket with the dirt in it, and that ac repairman said them hog hair filters did not work too well? and no I dont have a pourch with more then 3 dogs under it. or a fridge in the yard, wait a minute dad has the fridge in the grarage? i guess i could be a redneck
