And from that ride I came back to camp with the squirrel eating the peanuts I left on the table. That BBQ brush behind him was actually removed from the table and he did not even get scarred off, so he's getting more tamed and less paranoid with us.

More scenery...

Whats nice about this area is that it's not just the same trees all over, the terrain is very varried from tall ones to short ones, to just feilds. And lot of big rocks.

Later on somewhere in those trails... you can see the scenery in the back is pretty nice, but it gets nicer (which is when the camera started acting up on me so no pics of the better places

But because I came prepared, that was not a problem...

Some more pics, I took these last time I went (august 20th weekend) but just forgot to post them, I was browsing around and found them so thought I'd post up some more. This is when I was going down a trail and had a little dead end...

Yeah at first he was but I'm slowly getting him tamed to not be afraid of me. I even had him jump on my arm to get to some peanuts. I could see it that he was freaking out though but now that he did it once and that I did not try to do anything to him, he will do it more easly now and trusts me a bit more. It takes a while for squirrels. But at the other camp I had them jumping on my head and stuff.

I think its funny that he not even scared of you next to em like that

Yeah I like it too. Here's another. I probably won't be going this week though since I have like 2 PCs in my shop and figured I'd make some plans with some friends I went to school with, have not seen them since the grad. But I'll go next week and snap some more pics of the squirrel. I hope I can catch him in the bird feeder or something.

Yeah all the windows are new, and they moved the wall, since that used to be the room with that creepy closet we used to walk in to go into the other room. I loved that closet though. Oh and remember that billy bass fish and kyle hid the batteries on us? He had put it in the pockets of the coat in that closet, we never even thought of looking in there.

They've been doing construction on the cottage and it looks pretty nice so far. Took a pic to show how shiny the wood is. (the wall shown is old tiles though, but the rest is all wood)

And here's the fixed product. Stairs! While they are not exactly square, the main point of them is to walk on the logs and not the sand, but figured I'd try to pack the sand so it can be walked ou too like normal stairs. The sand is packed almost like cement. I did not have a machine or anything, just a shovel and a sludgehammer type axe. Took almost a whole day since I took breaks in betweek, it was hot that day. They are super solid, I can jump on them and they won't budge. Wait till they've been there for a few years it will get even more solid.

Once almost down to the beach it goes more steep and it's all sand... but tired of always getting sand in my sandles going down, I decided to fix it. (not sure if it survived our huge rainfall though.

I brought my camera up to camp so figured I'd share some pics. I try to go every weekend usually. I wish I did not have to work so I can go more often, like for full weeks. But oh well. I'll start with a pic of part of the trail to go down to the lake, the property sort of goes downhill so go to to the lake we go through a trail. Lot of blueberries there so I often pick some up on the way down, or up.
