| I had no trouble installing Shockwave myself, I suppose since I used the installer version of firefox. However I do notice that sometimes I run into websites that don't recognize shockwave in firefox, and pop up an error message, despite the fact that it is installed and works perfectly elsewhere. |

| Here is some advice. (That page has a lot of information for other plug-ins too.) Did you use the Firefox installer? If not, you will have to add something to the registry to get Shockwave to recognise Firefox. |
