| I am so glad that someone has had the juevos to post something about that GAIN Trickler piece of pain in the butt spyware. I can't tell you the amount of systems I've had to rip it out of because, apparently, there's something about Trickler that disables Java in IE on WinME machines. In addition to AdAware and Spybot, I use Hijackthis to remove that junk from my system. Hijackthis is a Registry scanning tool that locates recent changes for you, lists them, and asks you if you want them removed. Hmm... a new Trinity??? |

| oh hey great post about spyware...you mentioned hijakcers also... i just wanted to point out that for hijacked browsers there is a nice program called "hijack this"....did a super job for me.... |

| I'll have to check that out. And another note, gator is now called claria. I bet that is their attempt to make people think it's not spyware, as gator is too widely known as spyware. Well time to get the word out that claria IS gator. |
