| man i found the information on this song boy is it old. the orgianl version was wrote in 1924. the one with the jokes in was done in 1961. here are the words and some info on it just in case you wanted them. | i got it from the song it's self. i thought all the kids were into retro music and tv shows like " that 70's show" heck i was a kid then. the song is a joke song of sorts. it is called " Doe's Your Chewing Gum Lose It's Flavor On The Bedpost Over Night " and doing the song which is in the style of an old carvinal show there is a band member that comes up to the lead singer and pesters him with those jokes. makes the lead singer  feel like doing that but the song is funny. and even back then was more of a kids song. but it is funny to me i keep cracking up at it when i hear it. and the poor guy never gets his jokes answered |
