Have you tried connecting the camera before installing the drivers? Depending on the camera, yoy may not need to install drivers at all. You may be able to use a defualt driver that comes with windows to get the job done.

And for partitioning, if you want to re-partition without losing you data, you need a non-destructive partitioning program. I haven't really seen any free ones unfortunately, though there probably are a few out there. However, if you are willing to put up the cash for it, I recommend Partition Magic. I know some people have issues with Symantec\Norton, but please note the Powerquest [the makers of Partition Magic] just recently got bought out by Symantec.

i installed a digital usb camera drivers and after a while when i connected the camera to the computer it would show that the drivers are incorrectly installed. i've tried reinstalling to no avail. do you have any suggestion on any other methods i can try?

i also want to reinstall a laptop to have both linux and windows but i do not have the driver-cd for the laptop. is there any way i can partition my hard drive (it already has windows but with drive c only) without losing the information i already have?

waiting to hear from you....
