i guess you have to have something like what happened to me to learn that. em320.gif

or maybe have uncles that drink shine on a hourly time schedule.

ok so he was my great uncle but he looked like my plain younger uncle guess shine kept him young? or pickeled stir_pot.gif

how do i know it was shine.?

simple dad said every year at the family reunion " Never drink any of uncle.....'s water "
and uncle ....., never did know how to walk with out almost falling. em320.gif

Cowboy, that is a new one on me! laugh.gif I never would have thought anything would ferment in a freezer...now we know. biglaugh.gif Was on vacation once and bought some apple cider, had it in the back of the truck...well you know what happened! ohmy.gif Fermenting cider is a lethal weapon! laugh.gif

i dont know about the green stuff there red i'll let you find that out stir_pot.gif

wren you can make it in a freezer we had a couple half gallon jugs of cider.

we forgot about them as they were buryed in the bottom of a huge chest type of freezer. one day we went down to get something out. the lid would not open.

seems after 5 years in the freezer one of the jugs blew up. and was now frozen to the lid and the bottom and all the other stuff in the freezer. took 4 days to thaw out enough for us to get the lid open and find out what happened.

we think the other jug would have blew up also if not for the one that did falling all over it and locking it in an ice block made of frozen cider.

when we got the jug up it was frozen all but the half pint in the very middle of the jug. dad would not let any one have that he kept it for him self. said it was the best apple jack he had. you see alcho.. dont freeze. the jugs had been in there long enough for it to ferment. em320.gif

i did try and get some but mom smacked my hands and good with that yard stick. she did not want no 8 year old son of hers getting drunk. which would have happend as it was well over 100 proof.

dad drank it and said : ahhhhhhhhhhdddgggggggggggggg gone that will kill ya. em320.gif

Hey cowboy, naw I'm not a young'un. Just old enough to know you can't make apple jack in a freezer. roflmao.gif

You'll also get protene from your green vegies that will have growed on it by then! em320.gif

rovingcowboy - Apr-30-2004 server time
oh you are a young un, ain't you

you can store that for a very long time in the freezer like about 20 years.

then it will be very very good, just a little small on the amout it has then.

but oh what an fine little amount it would be alcoholic.gif

because it would be a well furmented drink called APPLE JACK.
cheers.gif
