Does your ISP give you the option to have images sent to you at a lower quality so things will download faster? I think AOL has that. Maybe that is a setting in the software (if any) that the ISP gave you and you forgot to disable it on reinstall?

Hmm, this may not sound like an actual solution, but it's a way around it. Try using a different browser such as mozilla. You'll actually fall in love with it once you get used to the fact of using a different browser and discover the new features such as tabbed browsing, popup blocker etc.

i haf recently reinstalled my windows xp pro due to harddisk failure. i haf a new replacement and since installing windows xp, i have been having a very frustrating problem with internet explorer. Colours in IE seem like 8 bit, and pictures/photos and graphics on websites look very pixellated and blur. I have never had this problem before with the same windows xp CD. Games and pictures/photos outside IE are perfectly fine. THe problem is only isolated in IE. I have fully updated my display drivers and windows xp. Pls pls help, coz this problem is so so annoying!! thnks in advance!
