ThanksAside from the text [where I used the eye candy 4k gradient glow plugin], everything is pretty much stock photoshop filters. The block effect came from the extrude plugin, and in the first one, the background [obviously] was created with the crystalize filter, while the ice effect is mostly from the glass filter. Pretty simple stuff really. Heh, I kinda prefer the second one too, but I figured I need something a little "cooler" to keep with the theme. That and I like the way the glass filter worked out. |

hehe, Well I really don't care too much about the IC prize, you can keep it if you want. I just wanted to release these to the board since I made them for the board. Anyway, these are my 2 favorite. There are a few other ones too, with different backgrounds and text, but I just can't post them all to th board like this. Also these are at 800x600, but the originals are at 1600x1200 for those who want them, I just can't post them to the board because of file size limitations  Though maybe Red could hook me up with a solution to that problem *cough* Anyway, here's the first: |

| heh, I put forth the effort, but I never could really decide on anything I liked, and then I kept forgetting about it and the deadline passed before I realized it. I could probably wrangle up 2 or 3 good ones from the one basic design I made and call it an entry if you want Honestly it's been a long time since I've made any actual wallpapers, and I really couldn't come up with anythign original, but if you want it I can give you what I got. |

That's probably what I'll do if I end up making one [ depends on if I come up with a workable idea or not ] Thing is, I always hate contests and such that stipulate that the size has to be 800x600, because that in itself is pretty much is a guarantee that I'll never use the winner. |

| yeah you can make it 1280 or 1600 but the one you send to email must be 800*600 and if yours is chosen as winner then send full size ... makes it easyer on email lol |

| Anything bigger then 800*600 has to be squished down and it takes more memory and processing to do, it's not noticable on a fast PC, but it's still best to just use 100% of the desktop width and height so it does not have to be stretched or squished. But keep the originals since when we decide the winners they will be available to download on the front page. So for those who use huge reselutions we can also have bigger versions. |

| 800x600? Isn't that a little, uh I dunno, tiny? It's easier to squish down than strech up, you know... Well, whatever. If I make one, It'll be at 1280 or 1600. I suppose I could squish one down if need be... |

| Hello everyone Well i thought it would be fun to see what what ya all come up with making an iceteks wallpaper so open those programs and get crackin and try for that 1st place prize The wallpapers will be judged by me and ryan so be original Since im using hotmail my email might fill up fast so if its full when you send the pic plz try again later ...i will try to check it daily and save the wallpapers on my computer to keep enuff space in hotmail open for new entrys To enter Send your work to (removed) Subject line must have (iceteks wallpaper *your iceteks screen name*) so i do check it and i know who made it... Put a sentince or 2 about your work if ya like ***********************Rules*********************** There can only be 1 (one) entry per person, so make sure you send your best work. MUST be a member of iceteks forums to enter All entrys must be emailed to (removed) with subject line (iceteks wallpaper *your iceteks screen name*) example: iceteks wallpaper kenshin The attached wallpaper must be saved as .jpg ....if not it will just be deleted Images must be 800*600 resolution and must pertain to iceteks.com Submissions can include text on the image, but anything offensive will be immediately disqualified.
