Glad to see Iceteks is back up.

Anyway, how did my member title change to Snow Bank???

It changes at every 10 posts, it increments to something "bigger". Did you change it yourself to something else before? It should not change unless the default is the current, at least I'm pretty sure how it works... never experimented that. Once you reach 100 posts it does not change anymore.

I'm trying Avant browser, it seems to be the easiest. I tried Crazy Browser but could never figure out how to get it set up. blink.gif

Hey, glad we're back. dancingbanada.gif I changed browsers and thought there was something awry there! Even had a friend check the site and found it was not me after all! laugh.gif

cool, what browser do you use now?

Yep, downtime was horrible. For anyone who wants a dedicated server, don't go with http://www.managed.com I need to register http://www.unmanaged.com for them, since that's what they really need to be called. roflmao.gif

YEA! This downtime was terrible!

(I always want to type "download" instead of "downtime" for some reason. mad.gif )

Yep, and to make it clear it's not our host's fault, and our host did their best to try and get the server back online but the provider failed to comply. All they had to do was close SMTP or put it on standby, but I assume their IQ did not allow such a smart move.

I was searching for a computer case, and without realizing the first result was my buisness site and when I saw the page it looked familiar and I figured, cool, it works, then it stopped, but it was my Internet. (it keeps going down) Now all is in order and I will start catching up on news posting.

Hey Everyone,

I realize that we've been down for a few days now. I would like to assure you that everything here at IceTeks is O.K. The reason we were down is that we are hosted on RCTHost's Server 5. Thier upstream provider (the data center that keeps this server safe and online) recieved over 500 spam complaints about server 5. Thus, they took matters into thier own hands and shut down Server 5 and refused to consider turning it back on until they could contact thier sales manager. Now, as you can see, things have been straightened out, and we're back online.

So, we apologize for any inconveniences this may have caused, though it was out of our hands.

On behalf of the IceTeks Staff, thank you for your understanding.
