While the graphics aren't crap by any means, I've certainly seen much better games for the pc that came out a year or two before it did. That's simply how it goes with ports. As for the best fps game ever made, well, that's certainly debatable  |

| I dont know what you are talking about but Halo's graphics on my comp are definately not crap .And if you complain about the online play , Well ,what does that say about your connection speed and the server, because all the games i play are mostly real time with no glitching. and yes try legendary you pussy... Overall its the best FPS game evermade ,that is until halo2 is out on PC ... PS. and Master chief is not on steroids, he is a geneticaly engenered/cyborg soldier |

| i don't know were you guys have been but i have been playing Halo 2 for about 2 months now and it is awsome. NOt that the first didn't kick some a$$ but the second enhanced there graphics and changed to AI and the physics. I liked the campaign better in the first for some reason though the second halo has a good campaign. But the multiplayer of Halo 2 is inserpassable. I just hope they put it on the pc cause i know i will be able to smoke anyone on the internet. with my mouse. |

| Halo is the best game ever made!!! Sure theres a few things that arrn't as good as they could be. but the good things like its awsome gameplay and sweet online play. But my real comments are...to the guy whos comment says it only took five hours to beat the game. Well yah ....... on easy do it legendary thats sooo hard. It would probably take him five months. Secondly, the screenshots that you have are HORRIBLE they make the game look like crap. The graphics are like three times that good. Well one last thing this is by far the best game out there for computer or xbox. The online play is amazing too. Well Thanks for listining to my tyraid!! See ya round |

Look pal,the speed of your firing depends on your PC configuration.Half a year before I had some 1GB Celeron and it really was slow,but now I have P4 3GB and it takes like 3-4 seconds to overheat the plasma rifle or empty a rifle clip,so the pistol is definitely not faster.[COLOR=red]   |

About that last part, there is always someone on some forum who says he could beat a game in 3 hours drinking beer and scratching his balls. Always. |

| Really, I find lag has been a minimum, but lately it's been horrible but I think it's gamespy's server or something because it seems to be in every game I join or start, and before I never had lag, unless someone showed up with a ping of 1000 or something crazy like that. |

| I also forgot to mention that this game is UBER-buggy in multiplayer. Even on T1 with no one else on, I find a lot of lag. There are also problems with model animations showing up incorrectly... Just all the little things that make me mad. |

| Where to start... 1) The enemies were good at the beginning. After a while though you could just about judge exactly what they were going to do -> Not enough random generation in the AI. 2) The weapons were not balanced. For example, in the Xbox version it was tough to rapid fire, but since I'm Dr. FPS-Player, I've grown accustomed to rapid-firing on the mouse. Because of this I primarily used the Covenant pistol. You'd think the covenant rifle would be good, but it wouldn't allow you to fire as fast as the pistol (which fired as fast as you could press your mouse button). I beat the entire game using the Cov Pistol and the Machine Gun. I only used the machine gun to spray those annoying balloon looking things that explode and kill their friends. 3) The physics of the game were... laughable. What the hell was with the jumping? I could jump like 5m in the air and float like a damn butterfly. Someone told me that this was because of the odd gravity of the planet Halo. My rebuttal is that the gravity on the ship is/was still the exact same. 4) The graphics were poor. The models don't look very good on PC because of the supremely higher resolutions and draw rates. 5) The friendly AI was annoying. I don't think I have to explain this other than they were more in the way than they were help. 6) The cut-scenes were very dry, and the map loading zones were predictable. 7) Many times (in indoor scenes) they used almost the exact same maps. I thought this was a very poor choice from the beginning when I played it on Xbox. 8) Not enough variety in the enemies. After the first few levels I knew exactly how many times I needed to hit each enemy, and how to avoid its fire. It got really boring... so I started pistol whipping everything. 9) Not enough control options in the menu. 10) Predictability. 11) IT TOOK ME 5 HOURS TO BEAT. That's it? Are you kidding me? I'm glad my room-mate bought it and not me... Well I think that about sums it up. |

| Such as what? I enjoyed it and still do. Only thing I wish there would be more then one campain thing because that one was quick and easy to do. I would not want it to be longer either, just have more then one. But I think the whole point is that halo 2 will be the continuation of that one, and I'm looking foward to see it. |

    ok guys that play halo or might get it this christmas. you are able to join in the screensavers lan/wan party if you can learn the game you will need the full version of the pc game and the mods for it. it seems the pc have has maps in it that the xbox does not have, all info is on thescreensavers website at techtv.com they said the next lan / wan party is in Jan 2004 the second thursday? they are doing all repeat shows from now until dec 26th then leo is doing a call for help telethon for 12 hours. then back to the repeat shows until after new years. so you got a lot of time to practice the game. they said they like halo a lot and that is an inucation they might play it several more times next year? like i said i dont play it but i am just telling you that cant see the show so you can join in on the web, go to their site and reguster for the lan party.  |

| Actually it was said something about it being 25K light years, but maybe I can check it out more, since 25km seems more like it from looking at the size when in any level. 25Klight years you would hardly see the rest of the ring when looking up. |

| Red Squirrel, every play Conker's Bad Fur Day? Best N64 game ever! Halo is about 25,000 KM in diameter, a light year is the distance light travels in one year. If you really like Halo, Halo.Bungie.Org is a very detailed site that could answer all your questions. Archives, Fan-fic, Forums, Speculation everything. A very cool community. |

| Halo is a science fiction first person shooter. You get to ride in space ships, kill aliens and zombies and get to activate cool space ship type of stuff and all the high tech stuff you see in science fiction movies such as Star Trek.
