A modder's must! By Red Squirrel Well with computers, modding is becoming quite popular as well. At first, the concept of having a window was considered very cool and original, but now, allot of cases come with windows. To make the window better to look at, some seek lighting. And we don't want an ordinary light bulb inside the case, but we want something that is cool looking and does not produce a ton of heat! Cold cathode lights are the answer. They come in all shapes and sizes, oh, and colors. Today we will review the sunbeam cold cathode light. The one used in this article is half blue and half red, which makes a really cool shadow and a "Imax 3D glasses" effect on the wall. The cold cathode light from Sunbeam comes with everything you see here. ![]() The cold cathode light is 12 inches long and comes in blue, red, yellow, green, purple, blue+green, blue+red, blue+red+green and UV Colors. The UV color light is 4 inches. You can also get them sound activated if you want, which is great. This particular one does not have sound activation, however. What is very nice is that it comes with a switch to turn it on or off, and you can mount it wherever you like by drilling a hole and putting it in the same way as my fan switch mod article. However, for people who don't like drilling holes in their case and stuff like that, it might be a small problem, but if you bought a cold cathode light, chances are you are a case modder and used just about any tool out there on your case, so it should not be a problem. Anyway, time to proceed with installation… Next Page
